Shane and the team at Xtreme collision were fantastic. They took a very bad situation in the accident and made it a very seamless process. I would recommend Xtreme Collision to any of my friends and family.

Repair Process

Vehicle Drop-Off

Damaged vehicle gets dropped off and the customer signs a repair authorization allowing the body shop to conduct the necessary repairs to return the vehicle to pre-accident condition.

Repair Planning

There is a lot of planning that must be considered before the repairs begin on a vehicle. The estimator will take initial notes on the damages incurred on the vehicle, but cannot write a complete estimate unless the vehicle has been disassembled. We use a process called "Repair Blueprinting." During this process the vehicle is completely disassembled, including every part, in order to find every auto part that is damaged, even clips and missing bolts.

During this stage, if the vehicle has any structural frame or uni-body damage, it is placed on our Chassis Liner frame machine and aligned to factory specifications using our computerized measuring equipment. These repairs are then completed before any other repairs are made. If the vehicle does not need to have any pulls conducted it goes straight to step four.

Metal Repair

Now it is time for the body work to be conducted. All metal is metal worked back to its original position before any filler is applied to the vehicle. This prevents heavy usage of the product and still keeps its factory shape and integrity.

After the vehicle has been completely repaired and all of the parts have arrived, the vehicle moves into the paint shop where the refinish process begins. All the repaired areas are then primed and sanded. The vehicle is then covered and masked to protect the areas that are not to be painted from any overspray. Our Sherwin Williams certified painters then apply our environmentally friendly paint. All surfaces are then buffed and polished to remove any defects, as to provide a flawless and fantastic finish.

After being painted in the paint shop, the vehicle moves back over to the body shop to get reassembled. All painted parts are installed if painted separately, and all blend panels get put back together.

Once the vehicle is completely put back together in pre-accident condition, the estimator then reviews the repaired area and makes sure that everything on the estimate was completed and installed. After passing the Quality Check, the vehicle is then moved to the detail department to be cleaned inside and out before delivery to the customer.

Delivery of Vehicle

Finally, the best part: you get your vehicle back! This happens after all repairs have been made, the vehicle has been painted and reassembled, it has been cleaned up, has been Quality Checked to fully meet your needs and concerns, and all money has been collected in full from both the insurance companies and you.
